Xuebing Liu
Counsellor / Psychotherapist

Warm, grounded counselling for adults across the UK, China and internationally.

Welcome

Many people come to therapy when they’ve been carrying too much for too long — feeling overwhelmed, overthinking every decision, struggling with self-doubt, or sensing that something in life is shifting without knowing where to begin. You might be navigating relationship changes, workplace stress, life transitions, adjusting after a significant loss, or simply noticing that you haven’t felt quite like yourself lately.
You may also have been trying to manage on your own for a long time — holding things together, staying strong for others, or pushing through days that feel heavier than they should.
I offer a calm, thoughtful space where you can explore your emotions and experiences safely. Here, you’re welcome to come exactly as you are.
We’ll move at a pace that feels right for you — toward understanding, clarity, and meaningful change.

Approach / How I Work

My approach to therapy is relational, reflective, and grounded in emotional safety. I aim to offer a calm and confidential therapeutic space where you can slow down, speak freely, and explore experiences that may feel confusing, overwhelming, or difficult to hold alone.
I work integratively, drawing primarily from person-centred and psychodynamic traditions, while being attentive to cultural background, family relationships, and the patterns that shape how you think, feel, and relate to others.
